The Ninety-Second Aerospace Force is a United Nations Space Command Component Numbered Aerospace Force assigned to the UNSC Aerospace Force, UNSC Aerospace Force Special Warfare Command - Sector One. The numbered aerospace force provides aerospace special warfare units to both UNSC Naval Special Warfare Command and Unified Special Warfare Command. As a Component Numbered Aerospace Force, the Ninety-Second Aerospace Force is capable of conducting special warfare missions on its stationed planet as well as expeditionary targets. As a member of the UNSC Armed Forces, the Ninety-Second Aerospace Force has distinguished itself in planetary air and space operations throughout its history.

Mission[edit | edit source]

The Ninety-Second Aerospace Force is to provide special warfare capabilities force to support the missions of UNSC Naval Command and UNSC Unified Ground Command. Unlike other UNSC Armed Forces, the Ninety-Second Aerospace Force is to ensure the defense of the planet's airspace, its upper atmosphere, low and high orbit. The Ninety-Second Aerospace Force is one of the most unique forces due to its hybrid ability to serve both Naval and Unified Ground Command. In doing so, the Ninety-Second Aerospace Force employs a variety of units to support its mission to defend the assigned missions given to it by UNSC Naval Special Warfare Command and Unified Special Warfare Command.

Organization[edit | edit source]

In the 92 AF organization, the numbered force is commanded by a two-star general with a Command Chief Master Sergeant as the senior enlisted leader. There are four special warfare wings, two special tactics wings, and two expeditionary special warfare wings organized under the 92 AF commanded by a Colonel to oversee operations and coordinate deployments. Under a wing, there are special operations groups, special tactics groups, and rescue groups to make up the organization under the three wing types and are commanded by a Lieutenant Colonel. Within each group, there are five to seven squadrons per group to command as a Major.
