Libation
From Halo: Daybreak
The Libation was a Kig-Yar-manned civilian freighter.
History[edit | edit source]
On the morning of November 3, 2552, the Libation was moored near High Charity's Fiefdom Port of Umtalla when it was seized by a Jiralhanae pack led by Marsangtus. They captured the ship intact and the majority of the crew, with the intention to conscript them into service as unarmed warriors. It was subsequently attacked by Sangheili Banshees and Rangers, and saw the majority of the surviving crew either killed while fleeing, or escape with the boatswain Quatch deeper into the station.
The ship's fate is ultimately unknown, although it is likely that it supported Jiralhanae troop movements in one way or another.
Specifications[edit | edit source]
Considered rather small by Covenant standards, the Libation wasn't designed for military action, with its shields and armor only able to resist anti-air attacks for a short time. It had a communications mast, which all members of the crew could use to communicate securely with one-another via their wrist-mounted communication devices.
Crew[edit | edit source]
At the time of its capture, the Libation was operated with a crew of 44, with four being officers. They were given yellow-and-green uniforms.
